Individualised Support Sessions

What is involved?

These sessions are specifically designed for your child, based on the outcome of an assessment or a parent consultation. We can schedule individual sessions or a block of sessions. First, we will make a plan to work towards specific goals based on your child’s learning profile or needs.  I will work with your child on their own, on a range of targeted strategies and skills to help them thrive in school and overcome any obstacles they are facing. Support Sessions are conducted during school hours to make the most of optimum concentration times. At the end of each session, I will update you on your child’s progress. At the end of a block of sessions a review session with parents and/or teachers can be booked, if desired.

What are the possible outcomes?

I would like your child to feel supported, empowered and heard during these sessions. I would like them to gain a greater understanding of the way they learn and the way they process information. I would hope that these sessions would increase their confidence in their ability to succeed and to thrive happily in school.

What is involved?

These are small group support sessions. The content of these sessions follows a set programme, and the group size is no more than three. Prior to signing up for a block of sessions, I will provide you and your child with an outline of the skills and strategies which will be covered. At the end of a block of sessions a review session with parents and/or teachers can be booked, if desired.
